Papermat Bainbridge mats are ideal for matting open edition prints, posters and photographs.  These pH neutral mats are buffered to be temporarily acid free, but after several years the protective buffering will wear off and the artwork will be exposed to chemical deterioration such as yellowing and fading.  These Bainbridge mats are available in 4 ply mat off-white core and 4 ply mat black core.
