Traditional Bags have the adhesive on the flap.

Body Closure (B/C) Bags have the adhesive on the back where the flap meets.

B/C bags differ from Traditional style bags in that the adhesive strip is located on the bag itself rather than the lip. The result is a product that allows for the removal of matted art with less risk of tearing or getting stuck to the lip of the bag. A single shortcoming is that it does not allow for the bag to be tightened beyond its specified dimensions.
