Some things to keep in mind: There is a pricing table that you can look at here. This table will show you the price break down by category. The wood frames all have a category letter that you can see while browsing in the wood builder (not all are currently filled out, this will be fixed soon) The depth (D) or rabbet is the inside depth of the moulding where your mat, mountboard, art and glazing rest. Please be sure to keep rabbet depth in mind when using double or triple mats as they tend to be thicker and may exceed normal rabbet depths. When deciding on a frame, be sure to give us the outside dimensions of your finished product (this includes matboard, artwork, mounting board, glazing). We will add a 1/8" tolerance to make sure the fit is perfect. | |
Frames are sent unassembled unless assembly is requested. Documounts' unassembled frames are shipped in cut length form and routed for thumbnails, which are included. All unassembled frames are sent with assembly instructions (wood glue not included). Assembly Instructions are available here. Assembled Frames There is a $7.50 fee for labor and materials per assembled frame. Each frame is custom cut, fully joined, and wrapped for shipment in our facility. Assembled frames are limited to 20x24" in size due to shipping restrictions. |  |
