Documounts offers products to professional artists and photographers to assist in matting and framing your artwork for resale. We specialize in custom cut and pre-cut mats, backing and packaging materials and frames. We offer high levels of customer service and support to our trade customers.

Our History
When Gary and Betty Ehrlich founded Documounts in 1984 they sought to provide a simple and cost effective service for mounting art and other forms of printed material. Within a year they recognized that many of their customers also desired custom cut matboard to frame their materials. Slowly but surely, word of mouth spread in regards to this small company.
By 1990 the decision was made to relocate the firm to Eugene, Oregon. Within the thriving local art community, Documounts quickly became the favored local supplier. By adding mail order to their warehouse based retail operation, sales grew at a phenomenal rate. With the increase in volume they added mechanized cutting equipment and other product lines including mounting boards, and mouldings. By 1995, the customer base had spread all across the nation and in to Canada.
Today Documounts still embodies the core tenets upon which it was founded; an obsession to provide the products and services our customers want, the quality they demand, and the outstanding customer service to make the process simple and fast. Documounts now provides custom cut mats, frames, and associated products to both professional artists and photographers. While proud of our history, we remain committed to evolving and consistently improving to meet the needs of our customer.
