Documounts :: Mats and Mat Kits for Digital Print Sizes

Photography prints now come in a number of new "standard" sizes. At Documounts we offer some simple kits for some of these digital sizes and we can supply any size that can't be found in a kit. Custom mats can easily be cut to your specifications. Our prices and quality can't be beat.

If you're looking for a mat for a 4x6 print we have a great pre-cut option in our assorted mat blank mat packs in the outlet section. Mats come with a 3.75 x 5.75 opening in a 8x10 outside dimension mat. Sold in packs of 25. If you aren't interested in an assortment of mats, you can order any of our matboards in those dimensions. Remember to do an opening of 3.75x5.75 if you want the window to come in a bit and hold in your print.
If you're looking for mats to fit a 8.5 x 11 print or a 8x12 print we have a great option in our Digital Fit Kits. Digital Fit Kits are available in Standard and Archival quality and the kits come with 25 mats, foam and bags. Just add your photos and you are ready for the market. If you want different colors or quantities, you can begin building your mat on the custom mat builder. Custom is easy with Documounts!
If 11x17 photo prints are what you're matting, Documounts can definately fill your needs. We currently don't have any pre-cut options for 11x17, but custom mats are just as easy. The mat section is where you begin to build your mat. Remember to make your window a little smaller (10.5x16.5). A good outside dimension for 11x17 would be 18X24 (larger even border) or 16x20. Add in mounting boards and bags in the outside dimension.
Many printer paper sizes are 13x19. If you're looking for mats for a 13x19 print we have Digital Fit Kits all ready to go for you in Standard and Archival options. The outside dimension is 18x24. If you need other options than what's available in the kits or if you want the image to fit 12x18 instead, you can order exactly what you need easily from our custom matboard section.
17x22 is a larger photo size that more and more people are printing. We currently don't carry any kits for 17x22 prints, but our custom mats are a perfect way to get you exactly what you need. We recommend a 22x28 outside dimension for the opening of 16.5 x 21.5 if you want to keep your outside dimensions standard. Add in mounting boards and clear bags and you're all set.
