Documounts is pleased to offer Tru-Vue Acrylite as our acrylic glazing option. This top- of-the line framing plexiglass comes 1/8” thick, cut to your specified size and covered with peel off protective papers. It looks just like glass but offers an impact resistant and more lightweight alternative.
We have four options:
1. Standard – crystal clear
2. Non-glare – a soft matte finish deflects reflections and allows any-angle viewing
3. UV Resistant – conservation grade, crystal clear. Filters out 98% of the damaging UV rays
4. Non-glare, UV – with both reflection control and UV filtering
We encourage you to think outside the “frame” when considering Acrylite. Our plexi can be used in many other creative ways, for example:
• On table tops - protect wood surfaces
• In display windows – attach UV plexi to your window glass to create a UV filtering layer for objects
• Place mats - arrange photos or artwork underneath, put your place setting on top
• Monoprint plates for printmakers - simply apply ink and run it through your press
